Resources can be acquired in a large number of ways such as Monster Lairs, Daily/Alliance/VIP Quests , Alliance City Quests , Secret Gifts, Athena Gifts , Gift Boxes, Chests, Rural Buildings, Resource Tiles on the map, and attacking enemies.
Stone[]
Stone is a primary resource and is harvested from constructed Quarries in the city (Rural) or found in randomly located Quarries on the World Map. As with all primary resources, Stone can be acquired through a successful attack on an enemy city and can also be captured by enemies attacking your own city.

Wood[]
Wood is a primary resource and is harvested from constructed Logging Camps in the city (Rural) or found in randomly located Logging Camps on the World Map. As with all primary resources, Wood can be acquired through a successful attack on an enemy city and can also be captured by enemies attacking your own city.

Food[]
Food is a primary resource and is harvested from constructed Farms in the city (Rural) or found in randomly located Farms on the World Map. As with all primary resources, Food can be acquired through a successful attack on an enemy city and can also be captured by enemies attacking your own city.
Cane is the milestone tier 2 resource for food. Troops tier 7-9 take cane as an upkeep.
Cheese is milestone 3 food type. Tier 10-20 take cheese as an upkeep.
Soy is tier 4 food resource (however, no troop requires tier 4 resources only research and building levels may require it.
Caviar is tier 5 milestone food resource and is very limited in most cases.
Food is consumed by the players troops, so getting a high food production is ideal for a large army.
Ore[]
Ore is a primary resource and is harvested from constructed Mines in the city (Rural) or found in randomly located Mines on the World Map. As with all primary resources, Ore can be acquired through a successful attack on an enemy city and can also be captured by enemies attacking your own city.

Tier 4: Magnetite
Tier 5: Gypsum
Silver[]
Silver is a primary resource and is harvested from constructed Villas in the city (Urban) or found in randomly located Forts on the World Map. As with all primary resources, Silver can be acquired through a successful attack on an enemy city and can also be captured by enemies attacking your own city.
Tier 2: Bonds
Tier 3: Capital
Tier 4: Cowry
Tier 5: Proof coin
(note: milestones and demigod silver resources do not apply to hero captured bounty method).
Silver is used for training tier 2 and above troops, researching, paying kingdom tax and healing tier 2 and above troops. It can only be protected by a level 21 storehouse, so it is usually the resource captured after a successful attack, making it easy to gain and loose.
Gold[]
Gold can be bought with real money, harvested from tiles, gained from earning rewards by winning events, attacking and killing monsters, making deposits in the treasury, from thespeed dungeon, or the gold mine. Gold is used to buy many power-ups and special items.
Platinum coins
Platinum coins are used the same way as gold just used for demigod instant research, training , trap building, building upgrade and purchases in the store. It can only be obtained by pack purchsses, events, and Athena's gifts. It can not be collected from resource tiles yet.
Demigod resources have 5 different tiers copied from the original tier 1 resources names but are labeled differently and are a different type of resource. (I.e.. Demigod food (tier 5)).
