Controversy[]

Much debate has taken place among the community as to whether 'gold' or other such premium commodities have a place within gaming. Some people argue that a resource such as gold is essential for a 'free to play' style game such as Game Of War: Fire Age, as the developers of the title have to make money some how - they cannot afford to hand out freebies on the internet - so they prey on the players with fat wallets to fork out thousands of dollars to get an edge over the other players; which in turn must pay to equalise with them, in a vicious cycle that earn the developers unimaginable sums of real cash.
