Wall Traps - Tier 1 - Tier 2 - Tier 3 - Tier 4
Turret | Snares | Steam Cannon |
Tier 2 traps are very similar to Tier 1 traps, but have some more long term benefits. In terms of value for recourses, Tier 2's cost about twice that of Tier 1's. It's understandable as they have double the stats, but it does mean that a big aspect of deciding which to use early on will depend on how many recourses the player has available to invest into defences. Additionally, if the player is reaching their Wall Trap limit, switching over to Tier 2's will ensure more protection per space. Tier 2 Traps are still relatively cheap. They can take a little while to build, but during that time the player should be able to get some, if not all of their recourses back.
Tier 2 Traps don't require vast amounts of research, but each individual Trap has it's own line of research in the "Wall Traps " category. To be eligible to research Snares , the player first needs to research "Trap Defence Lv1". To unlock the Turret , "Archer Towers" first need to be unlocked, and to research Steam Cannons, the player must also research "Trap Attack Lv1".
